Stigende omkostninger til d\u00e6kskift og bekvemmeligheden ved at undg\u00e5 to s\u00e6sonbestemte d\u00e6kskift om \u00e5ret &#8211; is\u00e6r i den travle oktober-s\u00e6son f\u00f8r vinteren &#8211; er st\u00e6rke faktorer. Men kommer denne \u00f8gede komfort og besparelse p\u00e5 bekostning af d\u00e5rligere k\u00f8reegenskaber? Men i mange tilf\u00e6lde blev hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k blot n\u00e6vnt uden at specificere en model, eller vinterd\u00e6k blev inkluderet i hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6ktests. I \u00e5r besluttede Autozeitung at gennemf\u00f8re en omfattende test, hvor hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k og vinterd\u00e6k blev sammenlignet direkte. Selv om der kun var tre hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k med i testen, er det de bedste modeller p\u00e5 markedet i \u00f8jeblikket: <a href=\"\/bridgestone-turanza-all-season-6\">Bridgestone Turanza Allseason 6<\/a>, Continental AllSeasonContact 2 og Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3. Resultaterne p\u00e5 sne er s\u00e6rligt interessante &#8211; de nye hel\u00e5rsmodeller har forbedret sig markant i forhold til tidligere generationer. N\u00e5r det er sagt, er det v\u00e6rd at bem\u00e6rke, at hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6kket Bridgestone Turanza Allseason 6 stadig var det d\u00e6k, der klarede sig d\u00e5rligst i snekategorien. Hvorfor er det s\u00e5dan? Forskellen i slidbanem\u00f8nstre mellem vinter- og hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k er ikke l\u00e6ngere s\u00e5 stor, som den plejede at v\u00e6re. Vinterd\u00e6k prioriterer nu ogs\u00e5 ydeevne i v\u00e5dt f\u00f8re og modstandsdygtighed over for akvaplaning, hvilket har gjort dem mere lig hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k. Omvendt bruger hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k typisk et retningsbestemt V-formet slidbanem\u00f8nster, der ligner vinterd\u00e6ks. Den mest bem\u00e6rkelsesv\u00e6rdige forskel ligger i antallet af lameller, som er mere udbredt i vinterd\u00e6k for at hj\u00e6lpe med vejgrebet p\u00e5 sne og is. Vinterd\u00e6kket Bridgestone Blizzak LM-005 har l\u00e6nge v\u00e6ret anerkendt som en ekspert i v\u00e5dt vejr i tests. Anden-, tredje- og fjerdepladsen gik dog til hel\u00e5rsd\u00e6k, og Bridgestone l\u00e5 igen \u00f8verst. Vinterd\u00e6k kan p\u00e5 grund af deres sammens\u00e6tning simpelthen ikke konkurrere, is\u00e6r ikke n\u00e5r rullemodstand og st\u00f8j tages i betragtning.
